[pct-l] Water Bladders and Bowls for the trail

 I like using a silver coated 4 liter wine bottle bladder. ( Make sure you
get the one with a flat opening valve ) The opening is rubber and pulls off
and pushes one. Tough as nails and hasn't leaked yet. You can even blow in
air and use it like a pillow. I rate these much stronger than a platypus and
they're free after you drink the wine, or get someone to drink it for you.
Don't get too large of a water container because if it leaks, you may have
trouble if a long way to next water.
   Bowls for the trail??? I saw the old cut down platypus bowl in Backpacker.
If that were me , I would have cornflakes and dryed strawberries all over
myself!!! I like the old " Cool Whip" or Margerine tub bowls better. Plus you
can set them down and they hold their shape. I never liked eating out of a
"Baggie" even if it is heavy duty.
