[pct-l] Rabbit-proof Fence - a movie/book recommendation

--
[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]
And don't forget the Donner Party. We are fortunate indeed if we can profit
from others' mistakes instead of our own.

For those of the Class of '03 who haven't hiked this trail before: I'm all
for packing light, and have been following the usual questions on this list
about gear, weather, etc. Just pay attention to your own comfort level and
don't count on ideal weather through the Sierras. This is not the AT. You
can find yourself in a "situation" and two or three days from a trailhead.
Be prepared to deal with it.
