The Tahoe area is getting a series of late season winter storms.  Sugar Bow=
l (on the PCT) reports 12 ft of base at 8,300 and six feet at 6,900.  They =
are supposed to get another couple feet this weekend.  Temperatures have be=
en warm.  It got up to 36 on the crest yesterday, 30 degrees  at 10am this =
 morning with clouds.  Supposed to be cooler all next week.

Who knows what this means for July, but it looks really cold and wet up the=
re now. Most of the snow is gone at Lake level.
