[pct-l] hammocks

Mike,

>From what I've heard, it sounds like there are many miles of the PCT without
trees big enough to hang a bear bag, so my guess it that the hammock may
pose some problems - not only in the desert, but in the alpine zone as well.

Is there a way to set up the hammock on the ground? If not I'd say the
tarp/tent would be a better option.
