[pct-l] Re: Sock It Two Me!

My experience is that one thin sock in my NB805 works just fine. For
lightweight running shoes like the NB805, all that mass around my foot
creates heat and sweat, which unless I intentionally walk in puddles and
streams to cool down, ripens the condition for blisters. I use really
tight, thin socks, changed at least once a day to cut down on dirt and stiff
socks. I take at least one foot break every two hours where I take off
socks and shoes and wiggle my toes and cool the feet down, reduce whatever
swelling there is, and sigh in great, satisfied happiness to be in the
woods!
