[pct-l] Lone Pine - worth a stop?

No kidding. Punching through is one of my particular nightmares.
But the spring snowpack will have filled in the nooks and crannies,
persisting through June, when throughhikers are likely to use this route.
And we haven't finished April - Ma Nature might still have something in her
grabbag yet.

B ut make sure there is enough snow. I summited in late Nov. just after a
few
early snows. ( I had the summit to myself!) 18 inches over talus is no fun
when you keep poking through unexpectedly.
