Decided to go up Mt. Liebre Sat. Started at PC junction at Lake Hughes Road.
458.2 mi m. Trailside spring at mi m 486.4 is seeping all around pipe spout
but only dripping from spout. For those who don't believe in filters may have
a problem siphon water here. Next water at 492.2 near cut of trail has a fair
amount of water. It has a rock formation above and pools in several areas.
One pool is about 1.5 ft deep
Went up 8 mi and back got of trail in at 7 PM  walked in the dark no noon for
half a mile. My Zap my dog had a great time slept all day Sunday. No ATV's on
trail but on Jeep Roads they are learning. I hope.

Backpacker's word of advise: Don't take a sleeping pill and a laxative while
sleeping in a sleeping bag.
