[pct-l] RE: Muir Trail Ranch vs. VVR



The question of which to use as a resupply point
1/2 way thru the trek from KM -> TM lies in what
you want from your experience.

You will either:

1) want to get some "real" food, and VVR has that,
along with a, shall we say, "unique california backwoods
redneck fishing outpost" feel to it.

or

2) not want to interrupt the free flow of the wilderness
experience you are in the middle of and opt. to just drop
in at MTR, pick up your drop, and flow on.
