Entering Canada from the US:

If you are not a citizen of the USA or Canada, I suspect you will also need=
 proof of prior legal entry into the USDA before Canadian Immigration will =
allow you to leave the USA and enter Canada. Since US Immigration official =
will likely be there as well, you could be in real trouble if you don't. If=
 you're caught in this country without a valid visa, you can be deported an=
d barred from re-entry to the USA, which means any future visa requests wil=
l be denied.
