The Moose is an ungainly, ill-tempered mammal, mercifully bereft of the
ravages of grace and intellect.  In Alaska, where as many as 800 automobile
wrecks are caused  each year by their thoughtless rampaging, they are called
the Half-Ton Road Hazard.
The best advice is to go slow...expect the worst, and remember.... the fact
that they are not extinct is surely  proof that the Deity has a sense of
humor.
