[pct-l] Aqua Mira, Pepsi stove and Bear canisters????

OK I am sure these issues have been beat to death, but I want to ask a few
questions.  1) Does Aqua Mira kill Giardia?  Is there anything better than
that product?  We have been using a PUR hiker and have loved the ease of use
but hate the weight.  Also with chemicals you have to wait 30 min before its
effective which means no stop at a stream and get a drink.  You have to wait
or carry the water.  Plus mega particles are a nasty thing!!  2)  Are there
any new Pepsi can or cat can stoves out there?  I am trying to cook for 2
people and am concerned about doing so at high altitude etc.  Any web sites
that show how to make stoves and pot holders, etc.?  What is the best fuel
for those things anyway?  I have tested HEET and it takes about 6 min to
almost boil 2 cups of water.  It also makes the pot all blackened up so your
hands get nasty 3)  As far as Bear canisters go does anyone know if they will
be strictly enforcing those 3 LB things?  What are our options for bear Vs
food Vs Park Rangers?   Any advice would be greatly appreciated,  Dave
