Ah...you said Three Points, not Mill Creek Summit.  I still recommend Mill
Creek Summit.  In April the Angeles Crest Highway will more than likely not
be open to through traffic.  There is a section of the road near Vincent Gap
that gets filled with snow and rock debris every year and it takes them time
to open it up.  When I went it was still closed in the middle of May.
