[pct-l] Quotations (WAS "corn pasta")

Nate, imho any lister is welcome to add any kind of personal quotation after
her or his message, as part of an email sofware's "signature" function.
Many quotations are spiritual or philosophical in nature - as are
trailnames, I think. I enjoy the variety and am moved by some quotations.
They are there to show the writer's values, perhaps even to inspire readers.
For what it's worth, I have no problem with quotations, incantations, etc.
added to a lister's signature.

I also enjoy living in a country where freedom of speech is a core value.

The quotation which appears to offend you (and, I agree, has nothing to do
with corn pasta) may have been automatically appended to a blank message.
If it does offend YOU, perhaps hitting the "delete" button would be in
order. Asking the moderator to take action is inappropriate, at least.

Is this really necessary on a backpacking board?? Ground control to
Major Moderator?

Anyway, what does this have to do with corn pasta? BTW, according to
Ray's book, most of the corn pasta is processed these days, so it is
nutritionally bankrupt.

I really have enjoyed this board and all the people have been very
friendly and helpful. Let's keep it up and
keep it to hiking related issues.

Thanks,

Nate
