Yep, the best place to ask for a ride to the border from San Diego on the
week of the ADZ is the ADZ ride board on the site.  I have also forwarded it
to a San Diego trail angel (the ADZ Food Dude) who offers this every year to
dozens of hikers.

He will undoubtably be the first trail angel that you meet in person.
