Thanks for the replies to our question about toothpaste. Here is what we fo=
und.
We tried Amber's search, didn't turn up what we were looking for. We did tu=
rn up some "Sample Size" toothpastes. These are the 1.5 to 2.0 ounce tubes =
found in travel supplies at grocery/drug stores. Bigger than what we really=
wanted.
We called Crest back again. They finally admitted that the 2.5 gram (0.9 ou=
nce) foil packets (single use) are still manufactured. They told us we coul=
dn't buy them, we had to get them as free samples from our dentist. We call=
ed our dentist and he didn't have any single use packets. The dentists offi=
ce called Crest about getting the single use packets. Crest would only SELL=
him 6,000 packet lots. So much for free!
So, Marcia made a trip to Wal-Mart and bought several sample size tubes.
This whole exercise reminds me of my experiences with small zip lock bags a=
couple of years ago. I ended up with several thousand small bags. I don't =
think I will go for 6,000 single use packets of toothpaste.
