[pct-l] trail markings



I concur with the previous two posts.  You need the map books.  For some
reason, road crossing and trail junctions aren't usually marked with "PCT
that-a-way" markings like the AT is.  The maps will really help at trail
junctions.

I recommend hiking with the data book, map books, and town guide.  Just rip
out the pages you need for the section you're in, and bounce the rest of the
book ahead or put them in your resupply boxes.  Certainly don't carry the
ENTIRE books at one time.
