[pct-l] RE:tinidazole side effects

I plan to hike my own hike. (Is there really any other hike I could
do?)

If anyone brings back their allotted 50 dosages of Tini, or illegally
crosses the border with a contraband 50 dosages, and happened to be at
the kickoff I could easily see MY hike including one or two dosages.
That is if that, as yet unknown person, would see fit to part with,
barter, <gasp> sell, or otherwise donate them to MY hike.

And since my sister is an MD, I would happily consult her, as she drops
me off at Campo, about taking them. ;)

From what I understand, yes. The drugs are in the same family of
antibiotics: nitroimidazoles. The AIDS information sheet quoted in the
last
post by Gray verifies this.

An interaction list is available at
http://bnf.vhn.net/bnf/documents/bnf.2937.html You will notice that the
list of interactions is MUCH shorter than that of the the drug used in
the
USA Flagyl ( generic name: Metronidazole )

A google search will turn up lots of stuff on tinidazole.
