[pct-l] anyone have 2002 completion stats?

Hi,
Does anyone know approximately how many people attempted a thru-hike in
2002, and of those how many completed it?  I realize this is a totally
inexact science, but I know that Bob Norton and a few others (I can't
remember who -- maybe Meadow Ed?) try to keep track of this sort of stuff.
