If you're not pleased with the guidebook maps (which are fine for most
hikers), then you might try the maps (printable version) from Ken
Roberts at www.morethanamile.com.  They are excellent. I just printed
out lots of them yesterday.  I happen to want detailed maps with me as I
hike. You can choose different scales to work with and three levels of
closeness within each scale. Overview maps? You can choose between
250,000 and 100,000 or get down to the nitty-gritty at 24,000. Sure, it
costs a bit, but it's quite a package. And this is for the whole PCT!
Highly recommended. I'm just a customer... no financial gain in this
recommendation.
