[pct-l] digital cameras???

Could someone with experience also comment on battery use, life, type of
batteries, whether/how to recharge or just send extras. And, then about
size of memory card to get, how to offload pictures to another medium to
send home, etc.

I also want to get a digital, but am concerned that battery life and limited
storage on cards would be a big problem, especially on a multi month trip.
