[pct-l] days off in Oregon and Washington

Ashland OR, Cascade Locks OR, Stehekin WA are great places for days off.
You can stay cheap at the hostel in Ashland and there is a campground where
you can camp for a few bucks in Cascade Locks.  Both towns have many
ammenities---post office, restaurants, internet, grocery, laundry, etc.
Stehekin is just a really neat stop, and your last chance for a zero day
with your friends.  The Lodge has HUGE rooms which you can put 6-8 people in
comfortably, making the rooms very affordable.
