But many of those could be crossed via makeshift log/rock bridges. In fact it
was fun trying to figure out the exact steps in advance and giving your
judgement - and perhaps your sleeping bag waterproofing strategy, the
ultimate test.  Many people simply waded them instead, presumably to save
time, had bad balance, or because their socks were already wet anyway. I only
recall an average of 1 to 3 actual wadings a day. About June 20-30 with Let
It Be.
