[pct-l] tarp, tent, or nothing

I would have to agree with many of you on having some
kind of shelter for Southern CA.  When I hiked in 2000
there was little to worry about.  We did have the wind
that was a pain a few nights, but overall it was a
great year.  Use good judgement whenever you go out
and you'll have a great time.  I meet others who
didn't have a shelter in WA and when it was bad they
just kept hiking to stay warm.
