[pct-l] Getting to the Trailhead/Driveaways

Ken [and others]: I've used driveaways for the last 30 years and find them
a good method of transportation ... albeit if you are lucky enough to find
one going from your Point A to your Point B. It's always worth a try, but
if you do find one, be sure and buy the insurance options that they offer,
and try to get a gas suppliment, especially if it's a large car. They won't
offer it, but will sometimes give it if pressed.
Some other options: get on the Specials email list for all major airlines,
and especially Southwest, they offer some good deals from time to time. You
can also wait to just before your departure date and call around the
airlines for specials, and if none of this works, there's always Greyhound.
Hiking content: you gotta' get there que no?
