[pct-l] PCT Annual Meeting

If you are referring to the PCTA annual meeting, this year in Seattle in
February, I can only give you a report on one held in Portland in 2000. At
that meeting, there were several displays on hiking equipment, light weight
gear, tents, clothes, etc. Plus, many people to talk with. It was a great
chance to really see what one could do. It really convinced us that we could
do this trek and enjoy it. To be honest, we went to learn about how do to
the hike and weren't so much interested in the business meetings. Worked
great for us.

>From what I read about this meeting, there will be even more than in 2000.
So, if you are in the area and want some good, honest information - plus
helping out the PCTA, attend!
