Just curious, did you hike in the 962 waterproof shoe from Campo on through
the desert in very hot weather.  I had just the opposite reaction, my
Waterproof NB did not breathe, and I had to come off the trail at Scissors
crossing with feet that were toast. I also had a very light sock on.

The New Balance 962 is waterproof, comfortable, and durable.  I've put a lot
of miles on the pair I have, and have never had a problem with sweaty feet.
