Yes, that is the current (6th) edition.

For California there currently is no available guide. The 5th edition has
been out of print for a year, and the 6th edition (in two volumes - Northern
Cal and Southern Cal) is supposed to be out "in the fall." We gave up
holding our breath after a few of us passed out.

Jerry, when you get to the southern end of the trail in California give me a
shout.
