[pct-l] DMHO found in PCT water sources!

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]
Warning: DHMO is carcinogenic too!
Everyone who died of cancer has consumed it at least once in their life (and you can say the same for the air , whether atop Forrester Pass or down at the Columbia River).

Hiker Beware!

I can't find the source at the moment, but recall a recent scientific study
that proved beyond any reasonable doubt that laboratory rats force-fed
sufficient quantities of DHMO invariably died. Early season northbound PCT
thruhikers can expect particularly high concentrations of this chemical in
the Sierra sections and should take all precautions against excessive
exposure.
