[pct-l] Alcohol (stoves)

I purchased Esbit Tabs at South Summit for 35 cents a piece.

 Now they have a big time cataloque out and I think they are now closer to
40 cents a
piece. Luckily I stocked up. I end up using 2 a day.

For hikers on a budget, esbit may be a bit expensive at 50 cents a pop,
especially if you like warm breakfasts and hot drinks.  A dollar a day, or
$150 for a five month hike, just to heat water seems a little high to me.
