"... To keep it [the MSR stove jet] clean, when you're finished cooking,
don't allow the flame to die on its own - blow it out. ..."

This is a good general recommendation for pressure jet stoves. In time,
Carbon builds up at the orifice opening and becomes noticeable when the
stove seems to pressure down and not heat well. The user can "ream" off
this very hard Carbon while in the field. The extra tool to be carried
for the ream job is a regular twist drill, around size 1/8" or 3/16"
dia. You pop off the flame-holder disk to expose the jet and simply
rotate the drill in its orifice using your fingers. You are finished
when you see a bright brass circle at the opening.
