Well, heck..as long as you are at Tehechapi.....might as well go on to the
Columbia River datum...would save you a lot of travel
arrangements..plus..you probably wouldn't need to rotate hiking partners..

I'm shooting for the 3rd week in April...from Campo...I hadn't decided on
S-N or N-S until this week...but it is definitely Campo....

The nicest thing about being unemployed is the that I have ,for the first
time in my  50 +  years, the freedom to just go on a "walk about"...no real
fixed schedule...just a starting date...and a general northwardly
direction..I am absolutely going to smell every rose on the way....
