[pct-l] Rescue/CA fishing license

I heard last April at the  ADZPCT party at Lake Moreno that if a PCT hiker has a valid CA fishing license
and fishing equipment and needs to be rescued while hiking the PCT, there will never be any charge by
the rescuers.  ( That is a hell of a long sentence!)

Is there any truth in this??
