Let's get real!
It's political suicide for the NPS to even think about reducing the ursine =
population to a level that could be supported by the natural resources with=
in the park, which is what nature put there before the NPS stuck their oar =
in the waters.
Barring a fatal attack or a repeatedly aggressive bear on which relocation =
has failed multiple times, neither King's Canyon/Sequoia nor Yosemite NP ar=
e going to shoot any of their precious bears!
On second thought, if the bears were to attack park HQ en mass and bite the=
Superintendent and his advisors in the butt.........then maybe! Until then=
, let's go on to other topics and drop this pointless discussion.
