[pct-l] RE: Bear cans



My pack weight last year was about 48 lbs. with food & water, & I was
comfortable with it. I figure if I have to add 3 lbs. to keep varmints,
large & small, out of my pack, I'll pare down 3 lbs. elsewhere. I've
already dropped 2 lbs. just by rethinking my clothes. If it's
recommended by the folks responsible for keeping campgrounds safe &
escorting problem bears elsewhere (or dispatching them), I'll roll with it.
