Nice to hear. They weren't up the last time I went through either at Lyell
Base Camp, at the creek/trail junction where you mention or above the Half
Dome trail on the JMT.

Last summer the cables and poles were still up along
lyell near the big "mule/pack stop" about 6 miles from
T-meadows.
