[pct-l] Re: 9-11 thoughts

I am very familiar with Abbey's works...I am just voicing my displeasure
with the controls and regulations that are thrust on us in the name of
wilderness protection/management.....Why do I need a permit to wander the
crests of the Sierras ?? And why do I have to provide a detailed itinerary
??

And the pressure from the extremes of both sides start to dictate who can
and cannot experience the freedom that the backcountry provides..(if only
briefly)...

And I don't need any lessons from pompous twits...
