[pct-l] Fire fighting tools

[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]
The best tool for a forest fire is winter rain! In 1988, we had a big fire
on Sherman Pass in Washington. Forest Service spent a mint on crews and the
fire did what it basicly wanted anyway. The one thing that did it in was
winter rains. Fires are just part of the deal with forest. Yellowstone is
revitalized by it's fire in the same year. Of course, losing homes to fires
is no fun , but thats a risk people take if you built near a forest. One good
thing thing is, if you have a forest fire one year, your most likely safe for
the next few!!!!Monte
