After seeing Jo Ann's comments above, I started thinking about trail
condition, water caches, etc. It reminds me that I sometimes take the
trail for granted. It's been set aside for hikers, and I feel it's my
right to have it when I want it, the way I want it. I am extremely
grateful to those who give up their weekends and vacation days, not to
go hiking, but to break a sweat so that we can hike without even
thinking about trail condition 90% of the time.
