[pct-l] snow in WA

I just spent a couple of days (july 20 & 21)on the PCT just north of =
Stevens Pass.  Hiked from Benchmark MT to Dishpan Gap.  That area was =
60% or 70% snow covered.  Ice ax is definite necessity.  We camped at =
Lake Sally Ann - completely frozen and all surrounding area is snow.  My =
guess is that it will be at least 2 weeks before that snow is gone.  =
Maybe 3.
