South bound on a heavy Pacific Northwest snow year without an ice ax and he 
fell on ice?  Uh, is it just me or is it just obvious as a naked woman in a 
college men's locker room?  No offense, but, duh!  

May I suggest a bit of reading up about Darwin while he recuperates from his 
fall?
