[pct-l] addtional snow pack predictions requested. hahaha
Can't really say about this year, but in 2000, which also was relatively
dry, there was plenty of snow on Muir Pass to make you wish it wasn't there.
In fact, each pass had snow at the top. And, there also is normally a snow
field on the top of Whitney. I don't think you need to worry.

Jeez, now I'm getting nervous.
I want to walk on SOME snow !!!
Any predictions if the high passes
will be CLEAR by the 1st two weeks of July ?
This is when my JMT hike is currently
planned, and I want to make sure I get to
enjoy at least some consolidated winter
wonderland.....
Should I move my hike up ? Any opinions ?
Thanks,
Steve
