[pct-l] Fire in California, section E? water scarce in section B

Does anyone know if the fire is affecting the PCT?  Is any part of the trail 
closed?  Is it dangerous to hike there?

get the message to my husband, who's hiking and has just landed at Big Bear.

Btw, he reports Idyllwild to Big Bear is very dry . . . sorry I don't have 
more details than that, it was a short phone call.
