Indeed, the folks at the store will foward a package for you for a small fee. 
 It's well worth if it you're switching gear or mailing ahead food.  If I'm 
not mistaken the US postperson comes to the store daily dropping and picking 
up mail.  The number of boxes they handle is enormus and takes up lots of 
space, but it's pretty much self-service and you may have to hunt down your 
own package.

One of the best stops on the entire trail, it's worth it to spend a couple 
days and rest up a bit before tackling the High Sierras.  Wednesday night 
they have free outdoor movies!
