We still have tons of snow up here around Mt. Hood, even though it got up to
70 in Portland today. Are you hiking or skiing or snow shoeing? The snow
often doesn't leave the high country until mid-June, in a dry year. And then
I still have hiked in snow. The trails will be covered with snow in May and
finding them won't always be easy. Washington trails are not all that well
marked everywhere. But, I know its been done.
