Has anyone heard that Kennedy Meadows General Store
(before the High Sierra) is not open? As this is a
critical re-supply place for gear, I'd like to know
the story. I'd planned to write or call there to
double check the mail drop system there, but I'm not
sure it would be open yet, anyway.  I heard that there
were lots of fires through that area in the last year
or so, and maybe the store was not open anymore.

Any news would be appreciated.
