This situation; i.e., getting worried sick over arriving at a P.O. and having 
to wait until the next day or, at worst, until Monday, is a symptom of ultra 
fast hiking schedules.  Recognize that if your schedule is sufficiently 
flexible (as it certainly should be since you CAN NOT predict all delaying 
influences) then an extra day or two layover here or there is not going to 
hurt you.  

Slow down, stay flexible, don't worry and leave your watch behind.
