No, that date is not wise <grin>. It would be wiser to start April 26-28 so
you can attend the ADZPCTKO (http://www.pcta.org/news/events/adzpctko.shtml)
at Lake Morena. You'll get lots of information about the trail, desert water
sources, snow, etc., etc., etc., as well as meet other past and current
hikers and enjoy the BBQ Saturday night.
