[pct-l] El Nino???

The link that Tony referenced in his orginial post about the developing El
Nino conditions indicates that the weather patterns will affect hikers in
2003, not this year....  And we still don't know what the weather's going to
do in the next 2.5 months, anyhow...as other posters have said, it's the
February-March snowfall that's important to PCT hikers, not the January
snowpack.  Here's Tony's link -
