I don't think even TWO cannisters would be adequate
for two people, 9 days.  You would have to be mighty
small eaters.

The Bearikade is pretty expensive and only maginally
larger.  Check it out at http://www.wild-ideas.net/

I resupplied at Muir Trail Ranch several years ago
and found it OK.  They cater to paying guests so 
they sort of encourage you to get your stuff and
leave.  When considering resupply between Whitney
and TM consider the next stop.. Muir Trail Ranch
is almost exactly half-way and much easier to get
to from the trail.
