You're too kind, Sly. But okay, the world might as well know, the marmot in
the photo Sly links to is indeed the one around which the scree bear story
is based. Scary, isn't he? You'll walk right past his trailside den in the
vicinity of Data Book feature "small knoll" (pg. 97, 2534.1 m N on PCT)
